Structure of governing bodies
The Institute of Advanced Studies has bodies established by the Statutes under Act No. 83/1990 Coll. on the Association of Citizens of the Slovak Republic.
General Assembly
The supreme body of the association. Decides on the statutes, direction, finances and elects the board. Meets at least once a year.
Board
The executive body, which manages activities between general assembly meetings. Responsible for projects, finances and external communication.

Audit Committee
The control body — oversees finances and compliance with the statutes. Submits an annual report to the general assembly.
Ethics Committee
Reviews scientific and publication ethics of projects and collaborations. Guarantees compliance with international research ethics standards.
