These Terms and Conditions (the “T&C”) regulate relationships between the provider and natural or legal persons (the “user”) who use the provider’s services, enter into membership or attend events.
2. Scope
The T&C apply primarily to:
- Membership in the association (formation, rights and duties, termination)
- Attendance at events organised by IOAS (lectures, conferences, workshops)
- Consulting and expert services for third parties
- Use of content published on the website ioas.pro
3. Membership
The procedure for forming membership, the amount of fees and the rights and duties of members are governed by the Statutes and the Membership page.
4. Pricing and payments
Membership fees and event fees are set by the Board and announced upon application. Payments are made by bank transfer unless otherwise agreed.
5. Cancellation
If you cancel attendance at a paid event more than 7 days before it takes place, 100% of the paid amount is refunded. For shorter notice, cases are handled individually.
6. Complaints
The complaints procedure is governed by the Complaints procedure.
7. Personal data
We process personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy and in compliance with the GDPR and Slovak Act No. 18/2018 Coll.
8. Final provisions
The T&C are published on ioas.pro. The provider is entitled to amend them — the change becomes effective on the date of publication of the new version.
In case of dispute, Slovak law applies.
