Why become a member
Membership in IOAS is not about a title — it is about work on topics that matter. Members participate in research projects, lectures, publications and public discussions.
Three steps to membership
1. Read the mission and statutes
Before submitting your application, familiarise yourself with our mission and goals and statutes. Membership requires agreement with these documents.
2. Fill in the application
The online form Member registration — provide basic data, area of interest and a brief justification why you want to join.
3. Review and welcome
The Board reviews applications within 30 calendar days. If approved, you will receive an email confirmation and instructions for paying the membership fee.
Types of membership

The specific fee is set by the Board and stated in the decision on admission.
